Green with Envy

March 21, 2016

For the past few weeks, I have been moving from my old Irvington location to a new shop just around the corner. It being Spring, I’ve been loving all the green in nature and decided to paint something in my shop green. Of course, my first stop was Chalk Paint® to update my desk and one wall and Annie Sloan’s Country Grey was perfection!

Country Grey is a cool soft neutral with just a hint of umber/green, somewhere between Chateau Grey and Old Ochre. It is great foil for other colors and a classic choice for painted furniture. If you are looking for a change from her “other” neutrals, this may be for you. I love her Olive too – maybe I should have painted my desk that….

Whatever your choice, from serene and cool to bright and bold, green may be just the jolt you need for Spring! Here are a few of other favorite greens that I have gathered just for you.

I’ve been loving green too. I was in Florida last week and saw many shades of green accent pieces while shopping around. Refreshing!
